The experience of an intervision group on psychotherapy work in the context of private practice
Main Article Content
Abstract
The paper presents the report of an intervision group composed of psychotherapists working in the context of private practice. It analyzes the foundational phase and the demand that motivates the establishment of the working group. The centrality of the report is highlighted as the basis of this setting: through the processing of emotions related to the “then and there” of the psychotherapeutic context and the “here and now” of the group intervision setting, development occurs on both levels, and a productive reliability-based context is built among colleagues. Finally, the paper proposes the construction of productive affiliations as a business strategy for psychotherapists, an alternative to the emerging consumerist model in the professional market of psychotherapy.
