The reasons why I participate in the debate on the psychological function of with a reflection on the setting of the intervention within the contexts of urgency, are related to the interest for a psychology that meetings cultures socially relevant. The current culture of urgency is as widespread as difficult to think, but rather tends to reified. Consider the immediacy of communication technology and social networking, or increasing high-speed rail or air transport.
