Abstract

The learning difficulties complained to the psychologist in the school environment may hide relational difficulties in the family environment, and have no cognitive connotation. This work presents a clinical case, the context in which it occurred, and the critical issues inherent in its management, as well as that of other similar situations, in the school environment.

Pasquale Scarnera is a clinical psychologist with forty years of experience in the psychosocial psychiatric rehabilitation sector. He has conceived and implemented numerous community development and service innovation projects, as well as research / intervention on Burnout, Double Diagnosis and Alzheimer's Disease, in collaboration with the University of Bari and other Research Centers, funded on regional, national and transnational level. He is interested in Buddhist philosophy and techniques of liberation, and in psychoanalytic anthropology, sector in which he has published some works.
