The clinical psychological practice in prison: the limits of an acontextual intervention
Main Article Content
Abstract
The author proposes the reporting of a casa, in which some critical points are illustrated when intervention ignores the relationship between the individual and the context, and does not refer to the specific culture but is exclusively limited to the individual within a psychotherapeutic relationship seen as acontextual. The question deals with a two-year internship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Ser.T. of a District Prison of a male judicial compound. Internship was intended to identify a model of clinical-psychological intervention within the specific context of a prison, considering the strong structural and cultural change affecting it: activities on which one intervenes move from penitentiary to healthcare system.
